We are currently looking for a:

Working Student (f/m/d) Research & Development (20 hrs/week; 6-12 months) based in Monheim am Rhein

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct standardized tests, for example: pH, viscosity, material compatibility test etc.
  • Sets up, operates and monitors equipment to perform the tests
  • Records observations and findings in reports, lab notebooks, log books, batch records or equivalent
  • Uses judgment to interpret test results against limits and in performing inspections
  • Complies with all safety standards, including adequate use of proper personal protective equipment
  • Manages chemical and packaging inventory of lab
  • Assists in maintaining a clean and safe workplace by following cleaning and housekeeping standards
  • Assists in writing experimental reports, summaries and protocols
  • Assists in experimental design and analysis
  • Assists in test method development related to process parameters

Your profile

  • Enrolled student in chemisty, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field
  • Relevant laboratory work experience
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Careful, reliable, goal orientated with independent working method
  • Team-orientated, dedicated, and flexible
  • Good MS-Office skills
