As a technical mentor, you will take part in our students’ job-search efforts. By incorporating tech-skill training and soft-skill training. You will be a vital part of their success.
We are hiring a part-time (15%-25%) mentor for our Web-Development school. We are looking for individuals who are sharp, conscientious, and collaborative. What You’ll Do:
- Provide academic support to students in the form of office hours, live chat, and by hosting Q&A sessions and one on one sessions.
- Work in collaboration with the school team to develop, improve and support the student curriculum.
- Work in collaboration with the school team to identify and address learning gaps.
- Teach the latest technology to junior developers.
Your Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years experience in a Web Development role.
- Currently working in a well-known tech company in the industry.
- English fluent verbal and written - Must.
- German fluent verbal and written - Must.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Applied, Async, OOP, and Functional), Node, React, TypeScript, and SQL basics.
- Love helping and growing others.
- Experienced with Javascript testing frameworks, such as Jasmine, Mocha, Jest, or equivalent.
- Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented.
- Experience in teaching and/or curriculum design is a big plus.
