Supply Chain Sustainability Manager (f/m/d)

Your Tasks
- Regularly report the CO2 footprint of Beiersdorf Supply Chain
- Lead the quarterly reporting for finished goods transport emission and yearly reporting for warehouse and 3PM emissions
- Organize and follow up on overall process with local, regional and global data contributors and further relevant stakeholders from Corporate Sustainability, Logistics, Procurement and external consultants
- Final data validation, global consolidation and responsibility for data accuracy
- Overall decision-making for prevention of greenwashing!
- Lead audit process with external auditors for SC emissions
- Based on the AS-IS SC emissions, update forecast for CY and overall 2025 SC Climate Care Roadmap
- Execute the 2025 SC Climate Care Roadmap, working in collaboration with a highly cross-functional team (Corporate Sustainability, Logistics, Procurement and Manufacturing) as well as external companies
- Secure management and stakeholder support to implement the roadmap
- Bring in market knowledge, operational experience, best practices and innovative solutions to ensure execution of the roadmap, especially for transportation
- Support and follow up on concrete action plans for roadmap execution in local affiliates / focus countries
- Evaluate sustainability performance of suppliers in logistics tenders and ensure sustainability to be part of the decision-making process
- Follow up on internal carbon price concept for SC emissions to be economically relevant in decision-making processes (e.g., tender or network decisions)
- Ensure proper monitoring and reporting of SC emissions in relevant tools
- Map current CO2 footprint of transport emissions of raw, pack and intermediate materials
- Discuss materiality of these emissions with relevant stakeholders and lead final decision-making process
- Think beyond 2025
Your Profile
- Above-average graduation in a relevant field of study, e.g. Sustainability, Supply Chain Management
- Ideally proven experience having worked in industrial sustainability projects, preferably in FMCG
- Expertise in relevant sustainability concepts, e.g., carbon credits, offsets, insets, energy certification schemes (e.g., Renewable Electricity or Biofuel Certificates)
- Expertise in emission accounting standards, especially GHG Protocol and SBTi
- Profound knowledge in emission calculation for transportation, logistics sites and production sites
- Striving for an international career
- Proven conceptual skills
- Advanced level of communication (esp. cross-hierarchy and cross-functional teams)
- Capability of self-organization, ownership mentality
- Fluent English skills, basic German preferred, second language advantageous
