Your Role

You will be joining the Forest Stewardship Standardsteam in Performance and Standard Unit of FSC International Center, and your tasks will include the following:

• To support the update and management of the database containing metadata on various country processes related to FSC standards, including below key activities: Compiling and analysing information collected on country processes from the countries (e.g., examine numbers and types of people participating in such processes and conditions issued by body approving country standards).

Developing progress reports on country processes (including preparations of datasets for interactive dashboards).

• To support communication activities, including: Communicating with standard developers in various countries via email.

Supporting communication and publication of draft Forest Stewardship Standard for consultations or final publications.

• To support editorial review of Forest Stewardship Standards.
• To support admin activities, such as meetings.

Your Profile

• You are studying Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Sustainability, Agricultural Sciences, International Policy and Development, Data science or related field.
• You have an excellent command of MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Knowledge or Training in Tableau is a strong plus.
• You are fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish or French is a plus.
• You are living in commuting distance to our Bonn office.
• You are committed to FSC mission and values.

Terms and Conditions

• Start date: 15th February 2023 or as soon as possible.
• Working hours: No less than 20 hours per week (ideally across 3- 5 days per week).
• Duration: 12 months with an opportunity to extend.
• Remuneration: 12€ gross per hour.
• Location: FSC office Bonn, Germany (work according to hybrid model present at the time of employment).
