As Platform Engineer in the Developer Experience team, you will be part of an agile group of Engineers who are enabling developers to frequently and easily release high quality software in a measurable way. You will build and maintain systems that developers use to automate code quality monitoring with automated testing and static analysis. Through this work, you will help Scout24 build and promote a standardised release process for 400+ microservices running our products.
We use DevOps philosophies and practices to increase Scout24’s ability to deliver customer value at high velocity.

How your role will look like:
- Develop automated testing, publishing and deployment to the AWS Cloud
- Develop and promote standardised release processes for primary environments
- Apply product development thinking when developing the tools and services of your team
- Be a mentor and share your knowledge in blog posts and at meetups and conferences
What you need to succeed:
- Deep understanding of deployment techniques like Blue Green deployment and feature toggles
- Experience with designing automation workflows in a release automation environment
- Understanding of dependency management in at least one programming environment
- In-depth knowledge of cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform) or private data center and interacting with their services and APIs
- Ability to create and consume rest APIs
- Confident presentation and strong influence skills - able to adapt level and style to the audience
- Proficiency in modern programming languages - preferably Golang, Kotlin, Typescript or Python
Nice to have :
- Some things from the above list should probably move to this list, perhaps the rest apis and
- Experience implementing release automation with Jenkins and Github Actions
- Experience with measuring and improving the Four Key Metrics through release management
- Experience with AWS
