Your future plans
We are looking for a dedicated team member to join in building a Central Steering Desk managing RWE’s liquidity, working capital and credit exposures.

• Supporting the RWE Group in optimising liquidity, working capital and credit exposure
• Analysing liquidity optimisation potential based on RWE Supply & Trading GmbH's (RWEST) exchange and OTC commodity positions
• Identifying, structuring, negotiating and executing commodity financing transactions in close cooperation with RWE AG Finance
• Maintaining excellent professional relationships with external counterparties and relevant stakeholders within the RWE Group
• Project manage the entire RWEST internal transaction approval process including approval documentation / presentations and appropriate interaction with all relevant internal stakeholders such as Portfolio management, Trading Desks, Accounting, Legal, Regulatory & Compliance, Market & Credit Risk, Finance and Back Office
• Further establish RWEST as a trusted partner for all relevant external counterparties in the relevant markets

Your powerful skills

• University degree in business, economics, engineering or natural science
• Working experience of 3-5 years and proven track record in a commercial role in the European commodity industry
• In-depth understanding of all risks associated in complex commodity transactions (market, credit, regulatory, legal and liquidity risks, etc.) and ability to structure contracts with a considerate risk-/return profile is a prerequisite
• Commercial mind-set and excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to understand, develop, document and communicate complex structures to all levels of internal and external management and ability to network and influence at appropriate levels of the RWE organisation
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Business fluent English language skills and fluent knowledge of an additional relevant European language is a prerequisite
• Team player and enthusiastic about the opportunity to support and shape RWE’s financial basis for the energy transition
