About the position

Our company is building a revolutionary software product which affects the way millions of people study and play music every day. We are searching for a passionate Senior B2B Sales Manager to support the founders in selling our solution to orchestras, music universities, and music schools. Enote is building an intelligent mobile application that provides millions of hobby musicians and professionals instant access to the world’s sheet music.

Job Responsibilities

  • Meet heads of music universities, deans, and librarians via zoom and sometimes in person, and discuss how our software solution can help them and their students/employees.
  • Responsible for selling our software solution to institutions.
  • End-to-end responsibility from identification of an institution to the actual signing of the sales deal.
  • Your job performance will be measured based on the revenue you can generate.

What we expect from you

  • Extensive networking and sales experience, ideally in the music industry. For example, as an artist manager or from working in music publishing or for a performing arts organization.
  • Excellent musical and repertoire knowledge in classical music. You must be able to have a profound professional conversation in music with, e.g., heads of music universities.
  • You must be able to play at least one instrument on an advanced level.
  • High affinity for technology and software.
  • You must be able to work highly structured and reliable under pressure and must be able to track and manage your work very well.
  • Excellent networking and people skills. Ideally, you already have worked within the music industry and already have contacts within orchestras and institutions.
  • You will learn from one of our founders all about the software and how to approach selling our solution.
  • You are expected to travel - if necessary - to potential customers.
  • Fluent in English language


What will be a bonus

  • Software sales experience.
  • Any additional language you speak is a big plus. Especially German, French, Italian, and Spanish.
  • Already existing networks and contacts within classical music institutions due to e.g., a previous career as an artist manager, are a big plus.
