The Role

As Buddywise's first Sales Account Manager, you'll work on both new business - seeking out and qualifying new clients within a selected vertical - as well as then going on to own, foster and grow those clients longer term too. You'll be an expert at navigating and managing complex clients, whilst delivering client experience second to none!

Responsibilities


  • Building out a healthy new business pipeline, generating and qualifying leads and moving them through the company sales pipeline.
  • Analyzing client needs and translating them into compelling solutions with corresponding technical and commercial proposals.
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients at all levels to support future growth and client relations.
  • Onboarding, implementation, and ongoing client experience.
  • Represent the company in various events and actively influence and participate in marketing activities.
  • Working with our larger, more complex clients to spot future opportunities for growth, and potential upsells to further grow client spend.

About You

  • 3-4+ years (or equivalent) within Sales, Business Development or Account Growth orientated roles, preferable with a SaaS solution.
  • Experience with various sales techniques in sales cycles from prospecting to closed agreement.
  • Strong ability to build trust and relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels within a company.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills in English. Additional languages are always a plus.
  • Prior experience managing large complex clients, with bespoke requirements.
  • An interest and/or prior exposure with SaaS solutions, AI or Machine Learning is a plus!
