We seek a Project Manager and Maintenance Coordinator (m/f/d) who is aligned with our values of innovation, quality and team spirit. We invite you to join us in fulfilling our mission. This position is located at our headquarter in Cologne.
YOUR TASKS
- Lead all coordination and construction activities required for the execution of store designs received from headquarter
- CAPEX management: primary responsibility to achieve company defined CAPEX targets. Engage in required activities including bidding, negotiation, coordination scope adjustment, etc. with suppliers as well as mall landlords and coordinators to secure objectives
- Coordinate all maintenance activities acting as a main point of reference at zone level for the maintenance of all our stores
- Improve operational standards and procedures and identify opportunities and strive for continual process improvement
- Lead discussions regarding any needed partial store modifications including furniture installations, store layout changes and new product integration measures leading to a brief requesting design orientation
- Manage suppliers and supervise production of props, furniture and material supplies in coordination with indirect purchasing manager
- Working cross functionally, both within the organization and externally. This could include functions like: Finance, Operations, IT, Legal, Property, Commercial and supplier teams. Also, working with the project sponsor and reporting to governance groups to agree project deliverables and keep up to date
- Support Area Managers and local H&S responsible to be aligned with the local legal system for the workplaces
- Provide corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment in the store
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in one of the following fields: engineering/architecture, computer science, business or a related field
- 5-8 years of project management and related experience including maintenance coordination
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Technical knowledge required
- Strong interpersonal & excellent communication skills and extremely resourceful; creative problem solver
- Analytical skills, precision, attention to details
- Computer skills: AutoCAD, Office (Word, Excel,PowerPoint)
- Flexible, agile and hands-on mentality
- Must be ready and willing to travel frequently
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
