About the graduate program

• This cloud pre-sales engineering trainee role is part of an 18-month trainee program where you will gain insights in all areas of cloud engineering at Amadeus. As an active member of the Technical Presales team, you will support the the creation of customer proposal documentation in response to requests for support from the Amadeus Commercial Organization.
• During the program, assigned mentors will support and accompany you on your journey. You will receive trainings throughout the program to advance your knowledge on the latest technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Ansible etc, IT Service Management and non functional requirements, such as Service Level Agreements, Disaster Recovery or Security. With this training, you will be able to work as a fully qualified Pre-sales Engineer or Customer Success Management team member.

Summary of the position

• Participate in analysing customer requirements, responding to requests for new services from customers of Amadeus. Contribute to the initial analysis and learn about the decision making process in responding to RFPs.
• Contribute to the TPE service governance and evolution.
• Drafting presentations of Amadeus Platform related subjects to customers in the pre-sales/sales period
• Participating in Customer Technical workshops/discussions as necessary
• Learn about IT Service Management and non-functional requirements.

• Access internal and external trainings, certifications and conferences, especially in the cloud area
• Guidance from a mentor and high visibility to top management of the company
• Learn about top-notch technology solutions, such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Docker, Ansible, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Elasticsearch & Kibana, Couchbase, MongoDB, Redis, Splunk and many more
• Participate in international teams and DevSecOps Model and many more

What you need to join

• A Bachelor's degree focusing on computer science, computer engineering, business informatics or similar Interest in cloud technology.
• Initial exposure to customer facing activities, ITSM or Cloud technology, is a plus but not mandatory
• Positive spirit, a can-do attitude and a passion for collaboration
• A drive to learn and bring in new ideas, follow them through the implementation
• Very good English skills
