sMeet Communications GmbH, based in Berlin develops and operates the 3D Social Chat sMeet and other games on mobile, PC, Mac and the web. With currently more than 29 million users who design their avatars and 3D rooms, watch videos together, play against and chat with each other, we are represented in over 20 countries. As part of the Azerion family, we run Europe's largest social games community together with Sulake (Hotel Hideaway, Habbo, Governor of Poker and other…).
We are currently looking for an intern for the 3D environment department, to assist with 3D modeling tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and creating isometric 3D items for our products
- Creating textures and materials
- Researching and staying up-to-date on styling trends and contributing to the overall aesthetic of our products
- Collaborating with the team to ensure that all assets meet technical requirements and are integrated seamlessly into our products
- Working with the design team to develop new ideas and concepts for avatar items and other in-game assets
- Participating in regular design reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strong skills in any 3D software (Cinema 4D is a big plus)
- Experience with 3D modeling and UV mapping
- Excellent English or German communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A passion for the gaming industry and a strong understanding of online/mobile gaming trends
