Our Legal Counsel, EMEA serves as the primary legal counsel for our EMEA business. The successful candidate will provide efficient, effective and commercially minded legal counsel in an effort to minimize risk and ensure a robust compliance regime.
Responsibilities:
- Give accurate, balanced, and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics
- In collaboration with our operations team, define and implement contracting processes for technology sales, services, procurement, and partnership agreements
- Identify legal and commercial risks and issues and assist with the development of solutions
- Keep up to date on changes to legislation, regulation, and relevant legal topics across multiple jurisdictions
- Oversee corporate secretarial matters
- Work on ad hoc legal projects, including but not limited to, new policies, templates and procedures, and other corporate legal regulatory matters
German educated lawyer
full proficiency legal German and English,
4-5 Years of experience
least 2 years experience in with software companies
Familiar with both license and subscription software contracts.
willingness to take over the governance of the role of a legal secretary for all EMEA entities
familiar with managing outside counsel
