Legal Counsel Data Protection / IT Law (m/f/d)
Your Impact:
Provide legal advice to Oetker Digital teams and products, in particular about applying Data Protection legislation (such as the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive) to digital business ideas.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, in particular with regard to IT law topics in SaaS contracts.
Support our group-wide data protection organization with expertise in digital topics and foster the collaboration of a diverse set of companies from the Oetker Group.
Supervise the adherence of Oetker Digital’s teams and products to our group-wide compliance standards as Oetker Digital’s Compliance Officer.
Act as the first point of contact for (other) legal questions by Oetker Digital colleagues and coordinate with group-internal and external legal experts.
Administrate legal management systems, such as our data protection risk management systems and our contract management tool.
Your Strengths:
A university degree in Law (Rechtswissenschaften, Wirtschaftsrecht or similar) with 3+ years of work experience in data protection, IT law and/or related fields.
Strong understanding of technologies that enable digital business models, in particular regarding online tracking and digital marketing tools.
Can-do attitude and ability to work with stakeholders from different business backgrounds and corporate cultures.
Communication, collaboration, presentation and moderation skills. In particular, explaining legal concepts to non-legal teams should be one of your strengths.
Fluent in German and English
A huge plus but optional:
- Gained insights in FMCG industry or Start-Up environment
- Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/M or similar
