Your Role…
As a member of the global Talent Acquisition team the Head of Talent Acquisition will play a key role in the attraction and hiring of top talents for ZEISS globally. The role will provide leadership to a team of 10+ recruiters and ensure “best in class” recruiting service for one of our business segments; each generating revenues in excess of € 1,5 bn and employing between 3000 and 6000 FTEs.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Business Leaders and HR Leaders to understand business strategy, internal talent landscape, Talent Acquisition demand and forecasting
  • Develop and execute a Talent Acquisition strategy and plan that supports ZEISS’ business objectives and secures in time delivery at the highest level of quality and professionalism
  • Provide leadership to the Talent Acquisition team, focusing on development, training, and growth, to ensure we can offer an exciting, long-term career path for our recruiting team
  • Drive world-class, candidate centric recruiting approach and best in class customer service
  • Drive performance and operational excellence using latest recruiting tools and technologies, data analytics, benchmark, and industry knowledge to enable decisions and business discussions
  • Act as global point of contact for the management board and the global recruiting teams, drive communication between business HQ and the regions to ensure global alignment between all stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Extensive leadership experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally in a high growth technology business, with direct responsibility for recruiting, delivering 300+ hires p.a.
  • Strong track record in developing high performing teams in a matrixed, multinational environment to create expert teams in candidate attraction, sourcing, assessment, selection, and onboarding
  • Customer obsessed: drive customer satisfaction and provide positive experience to hiring managers and candidates
  • Expert in operational excellence and valued advisor to senior management and C-level on all strategic and operational TA topics
  • Hands-on mentality, willingness to roll up sleeves and lean in to help others
  • Used to work in an ambiguous environment and to deliver excellent results against tight deadlines
