Global Process Excellence Manager (f/m/d)

Catalent’s Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (SCCE) maximizes value through supply chain optimization leveraging best practices that are aligned with customer and business needs supported by best of breed, optimized, and sustainable processes, tools and high performing talent working in close collaboration with the site teams and functions ensuring reliable supply, responsiveness and minimizing risk.

This position reports to the Head Of Supply Chain Transformation. The position will focus on the end to end optimization and harmonization of planning processes through development of standards and best practice sharing in close collaboration with the peers in the supply chain teams on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall direction and leadership for responsible supply chain teams as well as other stakeholders to foster improvement and harmonization of the P2E process
• Understand the end-to-end global supply chain processes, analyze root cause of operational issues to drive efficiency, adoption, and effectiveness of the supply chain processes and tools.
• Initiate and manage projects from beginning to end, providing cost benefit analyses and return on investment analyses, along with project status updates to the internal stakeholders
• Champion and foster involvement by all levels of the organization of the implementation and maintenance of “Best Practice” processes, enhance teamwork, accountability and drive a sense of urgency throughout entire area.
• Consolidate and prioritize change requests and collaborate closely with IT to implement and improve appropriate tools enabling a maximum level of visibility and automation in the process.
• Constantly monitor process performance and identify improvement potentials, consolidate and prioritize.
• Serve as a global key contact to support local teams and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Provide onsite support to selected sites as appropriate.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Demonstrates flexibility in balancing the changing business climate, and the ability to transform the change into action.
• Demonstrates business acumen, particularly in supply chain planning.
• Demonstrated results in sustainable change management on the global scale.
• Experienced and adaptable to work fluidly across many cultures to build teams and improve customer results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Supply Chain/Logistics
• APICs or CPM certification a plus.
• More than 5 years of experience in supply chain with a main focus on MRP/MPS and or finite scheduling
• Hands-on mentality, with a bias for action and results
• Willingness to travel
• Operational Excellence competence (Green Belt or Black Belt Certification a plus).
• Demonstrated Continuous Improvement and Process Management experience.
• Possess and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Possess excellent proactive problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Possess ability to create team-based environment; demonstrated cross functional leader.
• Possess extensive knowledge of ERP (JDE or SAP) or finite scheduling systems (Orchestrate a plus)
• Well organized, detail-oriented, possess ability to multi-task.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, focused, work well under pressure and be able to prioritize work.
• Possess knowledge of cGMP regulations and practices.
• Influential leadership skills to work through all levels of a complex, fast paced organization.
• Fluent in English.
