Frontend Engineer (m/f/*)
What we're looking for
We’re looking for a full-time Frontend Engineer (m/f/*) with experience in UX. ZenML is an open-source tool designed for Machine Learning engineers. We want to delight them from the moment they land on our web page, to after they start using it on their machines. You would be part of the team responsible for designing, executing, and shipping this user experience to our community.
If you feel like you are a visually creative developer, have experience in UX, like to think outside the box, and collaborate with teammates to develop easy solutions to complex problems— this is the place for you!
Responsibilities
Conceptual planning and development of the open-source ZenML dashboard + UX:
GitHub - zenml-io/zenml-dashboard: The repository that contains all source code for the ZenML UI.

Tech used: React, Redux, Redux-Saga
Updating and maintaining the ZenML website:
ZenML Home
Tech used: Next.js, Strapi
Designing interactive UI components, that will visualise the results of our machine learning platform.
Developing new UI and improving user journeys through the product experience
Ensure high-quality implementation standards and brand consistency
Work closely together with designers and backend developers to improve usability
Maintain and further develop our website
Qualifications
You have a very good sense for UI/UX design.
You hold a degree in computer science or a related technical field
You already worked on a responsive frontend development project and you are experienced in CSS, JavaScript and HTML.
You have experience with modern web development frameworks such as Next.js/React/Vue/Angular.
Ideally, you have first experience with Redux.
Strapi experience is a bonus.
Design experience with tools like Figma/Canva is a bonus.
You enjoy working independently like to deal with new challenges and have a positive hands-on attitude.
Knowledge of the English language is necessary, German proficiency is a plus.
