Tasks and Qualifications:

Head of Accounting

DACH Accounting:

• Perform monthly DACH balance sheet reviews
• Ensure compliance with DACH accounting standards
• Ensure that branch accounting demands are satisfied on time
• Coordinate local audit and be main person of contact for external auditors
• Prepare Dematic statutory accounts under DACH Gaap

DACH Business partner:

• Act as financial adviser for local managing director and other management functions
• Prepare financial information for, and present at supervisory / shareholder meetings

Note : Some entries are made in the central ledgers and some balances are maintained by finance staff not belonging to the team this role manages

What we are looking for:

• Qualified or Chartered Accountant with business experience in stand-alone and/or group companies.
• Working knowledge in DACH tax compliance management (CIT, VAT)
• Demonstrable track record in managing a sizeable workforce effectively, and continually improving performance standards
• Good working knowledge of Contract Management principles, and capital project accounting and controlling.
