Biologist as Field Application Scientist – qPCR (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independently on-site and remote scientific application support & training support on a variety of qPCR products
- Perform product demonstrations and training at customer or company sites; deliver product line specific pre-sales activities
- Prepare and present seminars to wide array of audiences
- Support the organization in the achievement of the regional commercial, service and support goals
- Tackle customer partner concerns optimally through in-depth troubleshooting
- Remain up to date with product and groundbreaking scientific know-how and work in line with our Support & Service Competencies
- Play a significant role when introducing and supporting new products and applications
Education:
- PhD or MSc in Biological Sciences, or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Laboratory experience to include expertise in qPCR applications
- Experience in presenting technical materials in written and verbal form
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems
- Customer-facing experience is an asset; good commercial insight and demeanor required
- Proven track record to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical reports and apply mathematical and statistical data analysis
- Strong communication skills; capable of interacting with a diverse population of internal and external contact
- Fluency in German and English (Minimum Level C1) is a must. Other languages are beneficial
Travel:
- Flexibility to travel throughout area of responsibility (approx. 75% of the time)
- Valid driving license
