FCAS 2023 DDMS@FCAS Project Management Team Facilitator (d/m/w)

FCAS Program is one of the key projects for Airbus in the coming years, due to its economic relevance, the technological progress associated, as well as its strategical & political relevance for both industrial partners and countries involved.Due to the program dimension & ambition it is a great opportunity for professionals willing for technical and/or managerial challenges FCAS Program is structured in different developments phases, being P1A already satisfactorily closed and next challenging steps planned P1B & P2. The main focus of these two next phases is the design, built, test and first flight of technological demonstrators, as well as the maturation of a considerable number of new technologies that will be incorporated to the demonstrators &/or following phases of the projects.Later phases of the project will be focus in testing all assets, upgrading capabilities of demonstrators &/or building new demonstrators, testing the full System of Systems, together with the preparation of the final system design, prototyping for serial and industrializing the full serial production of all associated assets.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Program schedule integration and tracking as well as Contribution to risk management activities, promoting and facilitating the identification of risks and opportunities, including mitigation action

• Organization of meetings, attendance, reports and monitoring of actions (incl. Coordination and communications)

• Preparation and monitoring of WBS Work Brakdown Structure? /Budget/Resource Plans

• Coordination of activities related to the FCAS Program, under the responsibility of the DDMS & PMT Leaders & Product Owners, including coordination with IM, “Large Solution” and “OnePlatform”

• Compilation of specific requirements of the FCAS Program and the Business needs, ensuring the implementation according to the implementation schedule

• Support for the definition of the new digital skills, processes and training required for the industrialization of the FCAS Program

Desired skills and qualifications

• Completed Bachelor degree in Air and Space; Aeronautics, industrial Engineering or equivalent

• Experience in Manufacturing system and tools

• Knowledge of design

• Advanced skills in problem solving as well as high communication skills

• High Teamspirit/ Teamplayer

• Fluent in English (German and Spanish are a plus)

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
