We are looking for an Environmental Expert with experience in compliance, LCA and the GHG protocol to join our Customer Solutions team - we create carbon footprints of our clients' supply chains and products.
Through your own technical knowledge and business expertise, you’ll become a key strategic position at Carbmee and the go-to person for other teams to bridge their knowledge gap and shape the future of our product.

Your tasks
Perform compliance evaluations and ensure that Carbmee’s product operates in compliance with the GHG protocol and ISO 14060 family
Support the team in building features that allow calculating carbon footprints that comply with the GHG protocol and ISO standards
Conduct regular compliance checks and monitor changes in laws and regulations to meet regulatory schemes and certification requirements for our software solutions
Bring in environmental technical expertise and share your knowledge with other teams on LCA, Scope 1,2,3 emissions and GHG protocol
Play a key role in fostering knowledge about LCA and the GHG protocol within Carbmee and transfer knowledge to other teams
Join the Carbmee team as Environmental Expert and compliance expert and get the unique opportunity to work with the biggest organizations in the world to help them reduce carbon emissions
Your profile
You have a background in environmental engineering, sustainable technology or a relevant field
You have at least 3 years of professional experience in implementing GHG and ISO standards in industrial or software companies
You define yourself an expert in LCA and GHG protocol and you are excited to share your knowledge with the team to support Carbmee’s growth
Ideally, you have already worked with the ecoinvent database (version 3.1 or higher) or any other LCI database
You are an excellent communicator, able to adapt your communication to different situations, scenarios and stakeholders
A data-driven and critical thinker combined with a business-oriented mindset, with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
You define yourself as a supportive team player with a strong work ethic, eager to learn and work independently as well as in a fast-paced team environment
You are excited to join our diverse and international team either remotely or in our Berlin or Munich offices

Carbmee is an Enterprise Software Company that offers an Environmental Intelligence System, enabling companies to reduce their carbon footprint by analyzing CO2 hotspots in your value chain. By linking emissions derived from materials, transactions, logistics and supplier data in real-time with globally recognized standards and methods, we calculate CO2 footprints at a supplier-specific level. This is the basis for subsequent reductions of CO2 emissions throughout the value chain.
