Director Immunobiology (Remote-Based)

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Director Immunology to join a brilliant biotech organisation on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely from Frankfurt. Our client is focused on working hard every day to improve people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will cooperate within a matrix setting and sever as the SME to preclinical teams, cross-functional program teams and management team.
• Guarantee optimal operational implementation of the immunology research strategy generate and offer scientific data and rationales assisting with the company's pipeline development and biological rationales.
• The ideal candidate will develop innovative disease-pertinent hypotheses and novel drug notions with a focus on innate immunity as well as drive publication of experimental outcomes.
• Any other assigned duties.

• Communication skills both verbally and in writing towards a varied audience.

Requirements:

• Educated to an MD or PhD degree level in a life science discipline with familiarity in cellular cancer immunotherapies.
• At least 5 years if experience in a matrix setting leadership role within a clinical, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical organisation in the context of the development of cellular therapies in immuno-oncology.
• Exhibited ability in developing and executing tactical notions facilitating innate immune cell-based therapies.
• Know-how of R&D scale production of innate immune cells and connected ground-breaking technologies, as well as of immunobiology of innate immune cells which involves examination of phenotypes functionality.
• Comprehension and acquaintance with GMP production of innate immune cells would be beneficial for the role.
• Fluency in the English language with knowledge of German would be advantageous.
