GehaltFor our team at our headquarters in Bonn we are looking for a full-time DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
YOUR TASKS
- Expansion of the metasfresh build and operating infrastructure
- Modernization and maintenance of build, test and deployment processes
- Implementation of new technologies, e.g., Kubernetes
- Support and monitoring of applications and middleware
- Administration and support of Java EE applications, middleware and operating environments
- Close collaboration with the software development department
- Advising customers on the optimization and further development of their IT landscape
- Troubleshooting in complex and heterogeneous environments
- Autonomous execution of customer projects
- Contact person for departments regarding operational topics
- Implementation of operational optimizations for cloud applications
- Automating build and release processes and provisioning of cloud-based resources
- Implement and manage usage monitoring and provide dashboards with relevant KPIs
- Monitor platform operations, analyze and troubleshoot operational issues
- Operational control of the external service providers involved
- Draft, develop and maintain scripts of development tools (e.g., of build, test and production systems)
- Administrative activities such as monitoring of project resources, analysis and troubleshooting
- Collaboration in cross-functional teams
- Setup and expansion of the DevOps department at metas
YOUR PROFILE
- Successfully completed studies with a focus on IT, business informatics or training as an IT expert specialized in system integration or application development (or comparable qualification)
- Several years of professional experience in IT solution design as well as in developing and operating software solutions (system administration)
- Team Player

- Pleasure in shaping and advancing significant areas of responsibility
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Podman and similar technologies
- Knowledge in the administration of Linux systems
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience in operating applications (e.g., Java applications, web servers, databases)
- Experience with containerization, pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
- Strong communication skills in English
