Country Marketeer DACH

As a Country Marketeer DACH, you will expand Lamb Weston’s market share and brand awareness in the Foodservice segments in the country by developing, driving and implementing customized marketing solutions and sales instruments. These should be in line with the LW Brand Strategy, Customer Connect! and tailored to the focus segments and customers of the Route to market strategy for the country.

You will become part of the BU North Europe. In this role you report to the BU Leader North Europe This role is a fulltime role in a day shift. The role is graded in Hay Grade 16.

What do you do?

  • Business Objectives; accelerate the value selling power of the organization through development of channel specific customer solutions (value propositions and concepts) and translate these into sales instruments, enable and equip sales to practice consultative selling in order to become a preferred partner to our customers, generate leads in the channel to fill the sales funnel and drive conversion up in close collaboration with sales to drive performance, build customer engagement and loyalty through developing activation campaigns (multichannel), build local network with marketing- and PR agencies and relevant Foodservice related organizations
  • Strategy: contribute to the long term Route to market strategy and develops the initiatives in the focus segments, support the country sales manager in developing the country’s Annual Operating Plan, identify areas of opportunity to further improve customer engagement in the channel across regions, stay current on market trends, industry standards and competitor activities, utilize data and consumer insights to provide recommendations to drive category growth and market share, support the country sales manager in performing business reviews and provide improvements based on market insights (business intelligence/category management)
  • Communication: develop marketing communication instruments to enable and equip sales to practice consultative selling, conduct campaigns, trade shows and other promotional events, activate the brand strategy in the channel: campaign design, content creation and effective communication of key messages through agency collaboration, create, manage and control distribution of content across communication channels and digital platforms in line the online marketing department, provide excellent marketing service to our key customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Operational excellence: ensure aligned timing of launches and campaigns towards customers and the sales team, measure ROI on communication instruments and activation tools, share best practices across countries, with other local and international marketeers, monitor and manage expenses within the allocated marketing budget
  • Leadership & (project) Management: apply structured project management with on time delivery, stakeholder management multidisciplinary, multinational and through hierarchy

What do you bring?

  • At least Bachelor Degree in Economics with specialisation in Marketing or Marketing Communication
  • Experience of launching new products and services to the market
  • Understanding of the channels & customers in the market and to be able to apply the best marketing tools in order to execute successful launches
  • Fluency in German, English and knowledge of other European languages is beneficial
  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience within the FMCG market in the country (preferably Foodservice)
  • Deliver organized and useful market analytics using sales figure and clearly communicate insights Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within the region
