The position will be based in Berlin and report to the Senior Financial Compliance & Group Reporting Manager.
In this role, you will:
Execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated group financial statements
Monthly reporting to the US parent company
Preparation monthly business statistics, financial key performance indicators, and reports
Coordination/Management of planning procedures (Budgetplannig)
Budgeting/forecasting according to group specifications
Forecast, analyses, budget/actual comparisons
Assistance in compliance with US GAAP accounting standards
Participation in the annual balance sheet audits at the subsidiaries
Ensuring compliance with specific requirements for process controls (SOX audit) and the effectiveness of the internal control system
Analysis of the current processes and development of process improvements within finance department using various DBS (Danaher Business System) tools
Enhancement of controlling instruments
Support management in all relevant business topics /partner with other functions of the company
Participation in the implementation of new financial and IT systems
Are you qualified?
University degree and multi-years of professional experience
At least 5 years of professional experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis
Proficient in German and English
Good accounting knowledge
Experience in dealing with IT systems (LucaNet, OneStream, Oracle, Office Plus), very good knowledge of Excel, data warehouse and data analysis #LI-SK1
