As a Consultant Energy Utilities, you will be working directly with our clients and our colleagues from The Boston Consulting Group on projects to unlock additional value from power and gas sales, customer solutions and energy networks, to build new customer service capabilities and to leverage data and digital platforms for establishing new revenue streams for our clients.
Shape the world of tomorrow
- Providing expert support to our clients in the energy industry with a particular focus on energy sales, energy services, customer solutions and energy networks; from requirements analysis, to target architecture definition, to solution implementation
- Ensuring fit between business concepts and artefacts to be implemented within delivery teams (e.g., use case detailing, capability mapping, requirements engineering, process design, data domains and flow analysis)
- Taking hands-on ownership in the successful implementation of specific energy solutions, including including CRM, billing, pricing, forecasting, scheduling and logistics solutions as well as digital data platforms and value measurement and optimization tools
- Help managing transformation programs by coordinating implementation activities and by providing guidance to the delivery teams (e.g., business analysts, developers, QAs)
- Enhancing delivery quality by providing input on methodological approaches to delivery teams based on solution expertise and experience in the energy utilities industry
This is how you can make a difference
- You completed an above-average degree in computer science, (business) informatics, business administration, energy engineering or another related field
- You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the context of energy utilities, software development and management of implementation programs pre-dominantly in the energy sales, energy networks or energy solutions industry
- You collected demonstrable experience working in teams of business analysts, developers and QAs, in projects/programs that span multiple work streams and/or sub-projects
- You have hands-on technical knowledge in the design, implementation and configuration of industry-leading energy utilities solutions, e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Powercloud
- You have a basic end-to-end understanding of energy utilities systems landscapes, including core systems and corresponding capability footprint, interfaces, and recent developments in data landscapes
- You command exceptional analytical and conceptual skills but with a strong client and result orientated attitude
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken), German language skills are a plus
- Team spirit and good communication skills, as well as the ability working in a team towards a common goal complete your profile
