General Description
In your role as Area Sales Manager (m/f/d), reporting to the Head of Sales, you will support us to strengthen Horizn’s position as the leading premium smart luggage brand in Europe by collaborating with the best wholesale partners in the market. You will help to grow our presence and sales, with a focus on South Germany (Bayern, Baden-Württemberg, Saarland, Rheinland-Pfalz, Hessen).

Your Role

  • Proactively build, manage and maintain relationships with the most important wholesale accounts within South Germany. As a part of the sales team you will push to achieve the sales goals.
  • Be responsible for an appropriate seasonal product flow by month to optimise business opportunities and a professional training of B2B partners.
  • Develop and drive our wholesale strategy further and identify market potentials in close collaboration with the sales team. Be responsible for establishing
  • Establish our new backpack & softgood offer and force the visibility of our brand in your region.
  • Drive our wholesale sales by creating new listings, increasing sell-through and building up trustful long term relationships.
  • Convince potential partners with your honest, passionate and convincing attitude.
  • Work closely with the management, Head of Sales and our Analyst to develop and optimize strategies, create quarterly and monthly plans and ensure an excellent after-sales experience of our retail partners.
  • Work closely together with your team and colleagues from marketing, operations, finance and IT to make each other even stronger, develop yourself further and achieve your joint goals.
  • Represent Horizn’s vision and strategy when managing our partnerships.

Your Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of extensive experience in sales or business development; experience in fashion/accessories/wholesale and/or a start-up is a plus
  • University degree in Business, economics, marketing or related field
  • Positive “can do” attitude with a high degree of enthusiasm, self-motivation and the urge to achieve your goals
  • Strategic, analytical and growth mindset
  • Team player and a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent organizational skills that help you meet tight deadlines
  • Experience with Excel, EDI, Shopify, Salesforce
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced and international environment
  • You are located in the South of Germany and have a good knowledge of the sales territory and the resident trade partners.
  • You are open for extensive travelling in your area, as well as additional trips to HQ in Berlin from time to time.
  • You are fluent in German and very good in English.
