What will you do?
Join us as a Technical Sales Specialist and assist us in our mission to become the world leader in serving science. This dynamic position involves providing product training, guidance, application support and troubleshooting for our team and distribution partners across Eastern Europe and CIS. Product lines belong to our Clinical Diagnostics business including Drugs of Abuse, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Immunosuppressant Drug monitoring immunoassays, as well as Clinical chemistry instruments and quality control products.

This is a field-based role, involving extensive travel across Eastern Europe and CIS regions. When not traveling, we are working from home. The position comes with a competitive package and benefits. How will you make an impact?

  • We support our distribution partners in-person, often traveling with them to end-customer labs, and by phone and email, serving as a trusted advisor, supporting the sales process and growing our revenues. In doing so, we help to increase customer satisfaction and build loyalty, contributing to the overall success of the business.
  • Deliver on-site and remote product sales application support & training support to our distributors and customers on our clinical diagnostics products
  • Perform product demonstrations and training at customer or distributor sites
  • Diagnose & resolve product performance problems and customer queries/complaints
  • Work with sales representatives on sales calls to customer laboratories to provide technical and applications assistance in response to customer inquiries
  • Assist the regional sales team in the development of accounts by giving technical seminars and presentations that promote the use of our products
  • Maintain up-to-date technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio and scientific developments in related subjects
  • Build trust with our distributors and customers by excelling in customer service

Who are we looking for?
  • University degree preferably in Medicine, Biochemistry, or Biomedical sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in international commercial sales/ marketing/distribution in the area of clinical diagnostics, pharmaceuticals or medical products
  • Microbiology experience/understanding is an advantage for the longer-term development of this role.
  • Customer-focused attitude and experience from working with clinical laboratories with the emotional intelligence to understand customer concerns
  • Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with KOL’s (Key Opinion Leaders), laboratory specialists as well as with our business partners
  • Excellent communication skills, willingness to openly share information and make convincing presentations
  • Ability to display credibility in mentoring and forging positive working relationships with customers, distributors and colleagues
  • Self-motivated, yet a strong team player with an energetic and can-do-attitude
  • Effective organizational, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Fluency in oral and written English is essential: Russian and Baltic language skills would be a bonus.
  • PC literacy including MS Office, Outlook and familiarity with salesforce.com would be an advantage
