The System Integration Engineer (m/f/d) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to support the integration of cross functional elements to deliver outstanding products exceeding customer expectations. Your primary responsibility will be bringing elements of complex systems together, identify functional gaps and drive their resolution. For most of your activities, your focus will be SW/IT, but you always think about the whole system and the final customer expectations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Deploy the latest Software and Hardware upgrades
Solve Software and Hardware problems / Collect / process data and contribute to root cause investigation
Define lab / prototypes layout to ensure effective work environment
Functional and performance tests to verify that the product meets the technical requirements, user needs and marketing claims
Clinical studies to prove safety and efficiency of newly developed system and clinical Laboratory activities (e.g. operation, calibration and maintenance of instruments)
Usability studies to confirm ergonomics and ease of use
Review design input and design concept to address customer needs at early stages of development
Co-ordinate interactions with customer (Laboratory is located at the premises of a customer facility) and R&D team (located in Munich)
Document testing activities (test protocols, test reports) and routine activities (e.g. SOPs) The essential requirements of the job include:
Experience in Development (or Service) of combined Hardware / Electronics / Software devices (ideally medical equipment)
Bachelor/ Master's degree in engineering or other relevant field
Effective written and spoken communication skills in English (German and/or Dutch are a plus)
Ability to drive activities, facilitate discussions and improve processes
Ability to travel up to 20%
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Clinical labs and working in a regulated environment
