THIS IS THE JOB
- You become a team member of a new division created beginning 2021 tackling end2end embedded software engineering for Automotive electronic control units
- You integrate software components to software packages for central control units with microcontrollers and microprocessors
- You monitor the continuous integration flow, coordinate solving of issues and check basic functionality of the system
- You use and improve a continuous integration and continuous delivery toolchain for embedded targets
- You start up new hardware samples in cooperation with the embedded software developers
- You guide the software developer team during the release process and create software release documentation together with software project managers
- You are part of an international development team, working closely together with internal and external software suppliers
THIS IS WHAT WE NEED
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar with minimum 3 years prof. experience in automotive engineering industry
- Skills:
- Experience with C/C++, Python
- Knowledge in Microprocessor and Microcontroller architecture and systems
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing, good knowledge of Linux, CMake, GIT, Conan, Docker, classic Autosar and QNX
- Enjoys working independently, focused, and proactive in a highly team and client-oriented environment
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and keen approach to learning
- Structured individual with good problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work alone with minimum guidance, but also be able to operate effectively as part of a team
- Ability to see the bigger picture but have a passion for details where it matters (out of the box thinking)
- Excellent communication skills: mandatory C1 or equivalent English- and mandatory B2 or equivalent German language skills. French is a big PLUS
