Simq is a certified simulation service provider and software manufacturer in the field of medicine and medical technology and is one of the pioneers of in-silico medicine.

We support medical device manufacturers in their digital transformation and jointly develop innovative software solutions for a wide range of application areas based on our platform. This allows diseases to be detected earlier, therapies to be improved, and medical devices to be made safer.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a software developer C++ (m/f/d) in full-time as soon as possible.

Your tasks

• Contributing to the expansion of our products through the design and development of new software components
• Extensions and adaptations of existing software systems
• Implementation, modification, integration and documentation of algorithms and functions, as well as development of tests

Your background

• Degree in computer science (preferable), physics, electrical engineering or comparable
• Excellent skills in C++ and object-oriented programming
• Confident handling of discipline-specific methods and tools such as UML, GIT, CMake and Visual Studio
• High willingness and capacity to learn by yourself and through interaction with colleagues.
• Good German (at least B2) and English language skills are required.
• Preferable: experience with any of the following: Qt, 3d visualization, computer model simulation, medical imaging
• Preferable: Experience with working according to DIN EN 62304, ISO/IEC 12207 or ISO 13485
• Preferable: experience with industrial cloud SaaS platform development, deployment, security, testing, and operations
