In your role as a Social Media Lead (m/f/d),you are responsible for driving our brand across content creation, storytelling frameworks, and social media strategy. You will support shaping the content strategy at Flink by balancing creative, analytical, and strategic thinking.

Job Description

  • Responsible for leading, building and implementing a data-driven global social media strategy across Flink’s organic social media channels
  • Work with local market stakeholders and content managers to ensure alignment of the global strategies on a local level to deliver brand-relevant, original and engaging content across three markets: Germany, Netherlands, Austria and France
  • Work closely with the brand, design, and content teams to conceptualise, plan and execute content pieces on a global strategic level while being operationally responsible for Germany
  • Foster a relationship with the commercial team and retail media team to leverage key assortment products and brands, as well as support partnership collaborations and contests
  • Translate brand and business objectives, and research into content and channel strategies, that serve as the foundation for social, video, and storytelling content
  • Guide a scalable content creation process, including running an integrated global content calendar and how to best leverage content across multiple channels
  • Leverage measurement and listening tools to provide reports and insights, sharing key learnings and best practices with all relevant stakeholders to optimise and iterate.

Qualifications

  • You bring at least 5+ years of experience working in Social Media in a corporate, or agency setting
  • You have a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or similar
  • You have 3+ years of experience with creative content planning, developing, and managing content strategies
  • You are an excellent communicator and writer, with business fluent German and English skills
  • You have a strong editorial and creative mindset, with the ability to concept impactful stories and content based on industry insights, trends, brand positioning and topics that matter to our audience
  • You are fully data-driven, balancing creative thinking with solid research and analytical skills; you can interpret data to build solid metrics and strategies for organic engagement, growth, and reach
  • You have the ability to manage and influence across highly cross-functional teams, and the skills to balance planning and execution
  • You have a great eye for design, photo and video, with a track record of developing content for YouTube and TikTok; you are full of impactful ideas for creative campaigns and topics that are not limited to one channel or one audience
  • You are based in Berlin; experience with FMCG/grocery/quickC retailers is a plus.
