Your Mission

As a 100% subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, we develop and integrate the next generation of Mercedes-Benz in-car infotainment systems that are based on the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS). In addition, we are responsible for the Mercedes me companion app, we provide seamless & connected mobility experiences and we contribute to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) platform development.
You will join a collaborative and agile company with a mixture of all experience levels, nationalities and genders. We are striving things together like a family and offer after work drinks, trips and knowledge sharing sessions where everyone in the team and company can offer insights to a desired topic (can be technical or completely different thing, like personal skills or something else).
You will work within the MBition System Integration Department. You will join a team of tech and automotive enthuiastic colleagues who are responsible to integrate, test and deliver the Infotainment Software System with highest quality standards and functionalit, in time.
You will be developing and co-defining the architecture of a modular and flexible test automation framework which enables software developers to automate tests on different levels on different targets. You will enable software developers to use latest and greatest engineering practices to achieve the best developer experience. You will have the opportunity to develop yourself with a provided budget for further education and shape your career within MBition.
Sneak preview of your future tasks
- Develop and maintain the verification pipelines that qualify our SW builds on HW-agnostic systems
- Work closely with Embedded Software Developers and Test Engineers and understanding their needs from the Test Automation Infrastructure and Pipelines
- Support with troubleshooting in case of instability of Test Framework
- Collaborate with the Software Factory and Test Environment department to continually improve the platform, templates and overall performance
- Define and modify the Architecture of the Testing Framework
Qualifikationen
Your Profile
Education
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
Experience
- 2+ years experience in Embedded SW Development & Testing in Automotive or comparable industries
- Extensive experience with CI/CD implementations, specifically with GitLab CI and Jenkins Pipelines
- Comfortable working with Python, Groovy, Bash etc
- Familiar working in a DevOps environment, using containerization tools like Docker
- Proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues
- Knowledge in agile methodologies and a rapid development cycle
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology or similar fields
- Experience in Robot Framework
- Quality-oriented: writing test cases for your scripts

- Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
