YOUR TEAM

Becoming a member of the “anti-theft-protection" development team within the domain “Intelligent Cockpit & Body" means resolving the tradeoff between fulfilling legal requirements and increasing ease of use for our customers f.e. by enabling smartphone functions or piloted parking.
You will be part of a dynamic, highly innovative and crossfunctional team covering the whole development process with system design, in-house software development, test and supporting TIER1 with ECU integration.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop new concepts for connected "anti-theft-protection" functions to protect the vehicle and it's valuable components against unauthorized use
• Derive the protection targets from superior system requirements
• Design a functional architecture under consideration of legal regulations, insurance requirements and innovative security measures
• Accompany the development process until the successful integration and release of the software components in the connected car environment
• Perform root cause analyses to resolve errors and manage the bug fixing process
• Represent the development team in the project organization and committees
• Lead the technical exchange within CARIAD and other Volkswagen Group brands

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on experience in embedded systems engineering
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies and cryptographic algorithms
• Familiar with automotive bus systems such as Ethernet, CAN
• Programming skills beneficial
• Self-motivated team player with solid project management experience
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
