Senior Risk Assessment And Internal Control Manager (M/F/D)

Your tasks

• Drive a culture of financial across the company by providing local training adapted to the local audience at stake.
• Identify needs for group policies and/or procedures and, where applicable, support drafting procedures in close collaboration with the process owner.
• Ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date with the latest developments in processes and systems
• Project Manage the recently implemented internal control self-assessment tool upgrade working closely with the Bertelsmann team:
  • Set-up a deployment plan for the upgraded tool considering priorities based on risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with the local entities to ensure the tool matches their control environment.
  • Create a testing methodology and train the entities
  • Review the result of the assessment and challenge the output with local entities. Ensure adequate remediation plans are in place covering any identified weaknesses.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of the reports.
• Act as an internal consultant to the entities of the RTL Group by providing advice on risk assessment items and internal controls on both existing processes and systems to the entities.
  

Your profile

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the following areas:
  • Implementing, designing, reviewing/testing financial controls in a complex multinational commercial organization,
  • Deploying a self-assessment tool internal control
  • Risk management
• Top 10 accounting experience would be ideal (2 to 3 years minimum).
• Enthusiastic team player with organization, project management and troubleshooting skills.
• A strong self-starter spirit is essential in this role: ability to start a project from scratch and to think “outside of the box”.
• Strong personal leadership with excellent communication interpersonal and analytical skills.
