AdresseTE Connectivity's Purchasing Teams are responsible for obtaining materials, components, equipment and services, gather quotations, examine bids, and award contracts. They perform cost analysis and volume planning for commodities, evaluate vendor reliability and develop new supply sources where required. They coordinate purchasing activities with the manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels and monitor cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. They also look for and recommend cost saving proposals including make vs. buy analysis, alternative sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria as well as develop specifications for new contract orders.

- Cost Management for YoY Productivity to support TE Connectivity Margin commitment

Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree.
- 5+ Years of stable track record of procurement results
- Min. 5 years professional experience in a procurement role
- Solid experience in remote leadership across different locations
- Automotive experience is an advantage
- Strong collaboration skills with internal stakeholders on different levels, being able to convince with vision and leadership
- Knowledge of Category Management Process and its practical applications
- Knowledge of Contract Negotiation and Management
- Must be able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach are required; hands on mentality
- High level of intellectual curiosity, self-motivated to solve difficult issues, continually seeking ways to improve
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written), additional language skills are an asset
