YOUR TEAM
Cariad Open Source Office (OSO) is seeking a passionate and self-directed Operation Manager to manage all operational activities within OSO. Open Source is a big part of Cariad, and we have invested heavily as it’s crucial for our future success.
Currently, we are a small, and multi-cultural team that works across the company to provide state-of-the-art process to support continuous compliance in timely manner. As part of our duties, we assist all software development teams with both Inbound consumption and upstream contributions, determining the appropriate modes of collaboration and ensuring industry best practices along the way.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage the pipeline of Intellectual Property (IP) scan, Open-Source review requests and progress reporting
- Collaborate with development leads/ program managers/project managers to help them understand the key elements of Open-Source compliance processes at CARIAD
- Keep track of their code scan projects, schedule recurring meetings with the associated teams/key players
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
- Communicate customer issues with the operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
- Follow up on issue resolution and proactive communication management team on any road blocker to continuously push projects forward with high quality
- Setup and Manage process documentation for internal and external Stakeholders
WHO YOU ARE
- Successfully completed studies in the field of science, mathematics, or a similar quantitative area
- Strong interest in managing complex processes & projects
- General knowledge of Open-Source Software and Licensing
- Have a good eye for process improvement and automating manual processes
- Strong Experience in Agile Framework such as SAFe® is Preferred
- Knowledge about SCA Code Scanning tools such as BlackDuck Hub, White-Source, Fossology, Revenera is an asset
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills are necessary
- Fluent English language skills (oral and written)
