About the Team

The GTM Packaging team sits in Business Operations and whose mission is to drive a shift in how Workday brings innovation to market, simplifying our packaging and enabling a more prescriptive and streamlined approach to how we sell.

About the Role

The Senior GTM Packaging Manager (Operations), reporting into Sr Director, GTM Packaging, is responsible for spearheading the operationalization of Workday’s GTM Packaging strategy in conjunction with key x-functional leaders (GTM, Revenue Operations, Services, Business Technology, Marketing/Comms, Change Mgmt, etc) optimizing process and ensuring seamless execution across the organization.

In this role, you will work on projects and be immersed in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and develop synthesized recommendations. You will also communicate the recommendations to executives, help drive implementation, and check back-in to see the impact of recommendations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work closely with senior leadership to translate strategic objectives into operational plans and initiatives.

• Develop frameworks for implementing and monitoring key packaging strategy and offerings, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement standardized processes / best practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.

• Develop reporting mechanisms to track progress against strategic packaging goals. Analyze data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

• Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes, systems, and initiatives. Develop communication plans, training materials, and support resources to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize disruption.

Key qualifications & skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field

Other Qualifications:

• Experience in business operations, process improvement, project management within a technology organization

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.

• Experience with Workday’s products and solutions, including current product packaging, pricing and deployments a plus

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
