The Senior Analyst Strategic Procurement (m/f/d) position at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is a great opportunity for an experienced professional with in-depth procurement knowledge. This position is responsible for the strategic commodity management through supplier relationships, risk mitigation, operating margin expansion, contract management, and driving the optimal total cost of ownership.
You will be an integral part of the Strategic Procurement and report to the Manager, Strategic Procurement responsible for all the Commodity Management deliverables. The position location is hybrid .

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage all Supply Base Management deliverables for key commodities/suppliers – Develop Commodity Strategies, Manage Supplier Performance and Risk, Maintain/Improve Supplier Relationship s
Drive significant Key Performance Indicators (i.e. total cost of ownership, supplier OTD)
Improve Operating Margin Expansion – (i.e. develop a savings funnel via negotiations and consolidations, improve payment terms)
Mitigate supplier risks by ensuring material continuity
Contract Management for key suppliers ensuring risk mitigation is in place
Liaison with corporate commodity leaders and site tactical procurement in implementing strategies
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with 5 + years procurement experience
ERP experience, i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.
Proficient in managing supplier relationships
Proven cost reduction performance with successful negotiations, consolidations, and commodity management
Fluent skills in English language, German is a plus
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
A manufacturing environment
Comfortable performing responsibilities in a regulated industry
