Sales Manager Storage (f/m/d) Top Accounts


This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

In a typical day as a Sales Manager Storage you:

  • Position the HPE Storage product and solution portfolio with selected top account customers in the area of industry verticals
  • Expand existing and develop new long-term storage customer and channel partner relationships
  • Focus on business outcomes for our customers, gladly with the support of our Greenlake Offerings and our HPE software portfolio (Zerto + 3rd Party SW)
  • Show a deep understanding of the end customer's business drivers in order to implement customer requirements in sustainable HPE business via a comprehensive consulting approach at all levels of the customer
  • Convince customers of the quality and performance of our portfolio as a potential element of their hybrid cloud and digitization strategy
  • Build a well-founded, long-term pipeline for both new and existing storage customers in order to increase the HPE Storage share in the German industry vertical and service provider market through their conclusion
  • Lead projects over the entire lifecycle from initial contact, PoCs, preparation and response to tenders, negotiations to the conclusion of the contract as a lead

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…

  • Academic degree in a technical or commercial field of study.
  • At least 10 years of sales experience with complex IT solutions
  • Excellet knowledge of our storage products, solution and service offerings
  • Good knowledge of the storage market, especially in the industry vertical
  • Reliability in building a sales pipeline, forecasting and customer management (sales excellence)
  • Distinctive customer orientation and consulting skills combined with assertiveness and distinctive technical portfolio skills
  • Team and goal-oriented work
  • Creativity, initiative and reliability
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation competencies
  • Proficient language skills in German and English
