Job Description

Rahi is looking to expand our team of energetic, committed, and diligent Audio Video Pre-Sales Engineers. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who takes a tremendous amount of pride and ownership in their work. AV engineers at Rahi are taking pride in ensuring the successful, and timely completion of projects varying from medium to large size and complexity. You will be closely aligned with Sales Managers servicing a region to demonstrate the breadth and depth of Rahi’s products and services. As a confident, technical customer-oriented individual you are an excellent communicator capable of whiteboarding a AV architecture, developing POC deliverables or demonstrating and answering technical questions about our core products and services. An experienced, resourceful engineer, you will have a demonstrated ability to follow through and implement solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction. Our engineers work closely with Project Managers to ensure site needs are met, schedules are on track, and the appropriate resources and equipment are utilized.

This role requires excellent leaders who can effectively prioritize, delegate to partners, and execute tasks in high pressure, time-sensitive situations. You will apply your practical AV engineering experience, whilst gaining valuable experience in the rapidly transforming unified communications space delivering high-quality meeting room, conferencing, and ‘special spaces’ AV systems.

You will have hands-on experience, e.g. pull and terminate structured cabling, install infrastructure for speakers, cameras, displays, video walls and projectors, and integrate devices to form fully functional Audio and Video Conferencing systems. As an integral member of our EMEA AV Pre Sales Engineering team, you will work with Sales Managers Project managers and AV Pre-sales engineers to offer and deploy AV solutions to customers

Responsibilities

• Drive and influence net new revenue using effective selling skills to deliver convincing demos personalized to the audience
• Drive and influence net new revenue by executing well-planned and effective workshops, POC’s and support evaluations
• Attend and design compute/storage/networking/infrastructure solutions for our customers, supported by the vendors we represent
• Architect and design compute/storage/networking/infrastructure solutions for our customers, supported by the vendors we represent
• Continually learn advanced topics around the data center and edge market
• Ability to work autonomously within an international team
• Experience of integrating devices to form fully functional Audio and Video Conferencing systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in enterprise sales engineering
• 5+ years of AV installation experience – especially related to corporate AV and integrated control systems
• An understanding of networking up to layer 3 is essential.
• A comprehensive understanding of AV and LV cabling systems.
• Assist with the commissioning and testing of newly installed systems
• Assist with troubleshooting by verifying and testing cabling, and checking power/signal flow
• Excellent communication skills
• A trusted advisor and product expert who engages our customers
• Ability to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations
• An action oriented approach - taking personal responsibility and accountability positively influencing others to get things done
• A comprehensive understanding of Bills of Material, commissioning checklists, construction drawings, pull charts, and AV System Schematics
• Verifies schematics and other engineering documentation, and provides detailed information to Project Manager and Engineering if modification is required
• As assigned, responsible for the direction and supervision of local partners onsite in Project delivery and AV deployments, report back to project management
• Infocomm CTS certified is a plus
• Have good PC skills and a basic understanding of network switches and TCP/IP networks
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a matrixed organizational structure
• Customer focused with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to quickly learn new products and adapt to technical environments
• Travel extensively throughout the EMEA Region
• Valid GermanDriving license and should be legally authorized to work in Germany.
• Ability and willingness to travel within Europe is essential. You may also be required to travel to other Rahi locations (e.g US) on occasion.
