About ITM

ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

We would like to fill the following vacancy as soon as possible:

Project Manager Product Development (f/m/d)

Your Role:

• You provide project/program management expertise to the project or program team driving planning excellence, monitoring and execution of plans, cross- functional alignment of coordinated product development strategy and goals (incl. support or lead of cross-functional sub-teams and task forces)
• Set up an integrated cross-functional project plan (including clinical activities, regulatory, CMC, TechOps and marketing activities; including budget and resource planning)
• Responsible for ensuring aligned product development plans (including scenarios), complete and accurately managed and archived
• Act as central point of communication for our projects/programs
• Work with matrix responsibility for an interdisciplinary team including Business Leadership, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, Validation, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs and Third-Party Management
• Lead all core team meetings, develop agendas, moderate meetings and provide clear and accurate meeting minutes
• Responsible to challenge schedules and financial forecasts provided by work package owners/managers, in order to establish accurate aligned product development plans; enabling efficient execution of the approved strategy
• Drive risk assessment by supporting the development team in the identification of operational and strategic risks and facilitate the related mitigation and contingency planning
• Responsible for creating and monitoring project budget and resource plans together with the team and for timely flagging and communication of variances/deviations with accompanying rationale to the steering committees. Develop mitigation plans and corrective actions should deviations occur
• Drive and/or coordinate development of strategic documents (incl. board meeting presentations / communications to management) and prepare for phase transitions/tollgates in collaboration with the Development Team

What we are looking for:

• Master or Doctorate in life sciences/chemistry or Bachelor of Science
• Several years in the industry with understanding of aspects in drug development, e.g. preclinical, CMC, clinical development and commercialization
• GMP experience in technology transfer, strategic project and product management of a pharmaceutical, radiopharmaceutical or medical technology industry
• Experience in project or program management
• Further practical experience in the field of manufacturing, clinical research, regulatory affairs, research & development, construction engineering advantageous
• Taking responsibility for milestone and budget adherence
• Strong, proven leadership for cross-functional project teams in a matrix environment
• Already successful working on an international multidisciplinary drug development team is beneficial
• Knowledge of drug development processes
• Expert planning and tracking skills, with the ability to capture details and summarize across the project/program and presenting it to management
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills, ability to clearly present information in a structured way
• Well organized, focused on results, capable of managing multiple projects, excellent time management skills with respect to priorities and self-management
• German and English (oral and written)
• Proficient use of MS Office applications (Project, Word, Excel etc.)
