Layout Artist

required skills: At least 2 years of professional experience as a Layout artist in VFX industry Knowledge of Maya and/or Houdini, as well as 3D Equalizer Experience with modeling, particularly environment modeling and animation is a plus, but not a necessity Familiarity with USD pipeline Previs background is welcomed

responsibilities: Taking an environment from blocking to final set dressing
Positioning virtual camera in relation to real shot scenes with the help of Lidar Scans
Keeping continuity of your sequence in check
Camera and character animation blocking for CG sequences
Creating previews and ingesting scenes into internal pipeline
