(Junior) Requirements Test Engineer (M/F/D)

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of our Hardware team and help shape our next generation of mobile face authentication.

• You will interpret and communicate customer and certification standards with the team.
• In this role you define system requirements with the algorithm, hardware and software teams.
• You specify, document and execute integration-, validation-, tolerancing-, benchmarking-, hardware-in-the-loop- and stress-tests based on these requirements.
• Furthermore, you develop and document test automation toolchains using Python and ROS.
• You help development teams to evaluate test results and determine the cause of failures.
• Additionally, you are responsible for the management of our bug database.

QUALIFICATIONS

• degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, software engineering or similar education
• a structured way of working, good communication skills and the abillity to work as part of a team
• strong ability to develop comprehensive, reproducible, granular, orthogonal and actionable tests
• first experience of Python to automate workflows
• first experience of ROS (Robot Operating System) is an advantage
• a creatively destructive mentality: You enjoy figuring out how to break the system
• fluent in English language (German is a plus)
