Your Mission
As Junior Community & Operations Manager at LFCA you'll be responsible for the beating heart of our community – our members. You'll onboard, provide support, and build relationships with 3,000+ climate action practitioners and the companies they represent. You'll be in charge of building smooth processes and helping create excellent and personal experiences. Ideally, all this will result in members being highly engaged and giving back to the community. In your role, you'll work together with our content, community, and product teams.
This is a remote role. The preferred starting date is February 1st, 2023.
What you will be doing
Community
Manage incoming membership applications- Build and improve processes to onboard new members
- Handle member questions and keep records of member interactions in a CRM system
- Manage billing throughout the entire membership lifecycle
- Build sustainable and long-term relationships with key members
- Manage relationships with partners and suppliers, including lawyers, accountants, and tax advisor
- Maintain accurate financial records in DATEV
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and auditing
- Assist with the hiring, contracting, performance management, and training of employees
Your Profile
- Advanced degree in business administration preferred
- 1-3 year of relevant experience in a professional business environment
- Understanding of finance including P&L and cash-flow management
- Familiar with DATEV and virtual credit cards
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Effective communication skills
- Fluency in English and German (both verbal and written)
- Self-motivation and independence
