The Kao Salon Division brings the Kao vision for making life beautiful to salon owners, stylists and their clients around the world. The role:
This is a 18-month, full-time position based in Darmstadt.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute assigned NPD activities in collaboration with Brand Manager / Senior Brand Manager.
- Execute status analysis of the business situation (sales, distribution etc. in each country) and brand profile on the market (strengths, weaknesses, potential for improvement) in close collaboration with the commercial teams.
- Analysis of hair stylist and consumer needs (Insight Generation) – initiation of market research projects and interpretation of results
- Support the development of general product and marketing concepts to strengthen brands, incl. assessment of business potential
- Continuous market observation and competitor analysis within area of responsibility
- Agency management
- Management of Budget (planning, forecast and controlling) for the assigned tasks
- University degree/Master in Business Management with a focus on Marketing
- Approx. 1-2 years of professional experience in brand management – ideally in a strategic marketing department - or a creative/digital agency with a focus on FMCG, beauty and/or fashion.
- Conceptual, strategical and analytical skills, capability of abstract reasoning and creative thinker
- Teamplayer with "Can Do" attitude

- Analyse von Friseur- und Konsumentenbedürfnissen (Insight Generation) - Initiierung von Marktforschungsprojekten und Interpretation der Ergebnisse
- Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung von allgemeinen Produkt- und Marketingkonzepten zur Stärkung der Marken, inkl. Bewertung des Geschäftspotenzials
- Kontinuierliche Marktbeobachtung und Mitbewerberanalyse im Verantwortungsbereich
- Verwaltung der Agentur
- Verwaltung des Budgets (Planung, Prognose und Controlling) für die zugewiesenen Aufgaben
- Universitätsabschluss/Master in Betriebswirtschaft mit Schwerpunkt Marketing
- Ca. 1-2 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Brand Management - idealerweise in einer strategischen Marketingabteilung - oder einer Kreativ-/Digitalagentur mit Schwerpunkt FMCG, Beauty und/oder Fashion.
- Konzeptionelle, strategische und analytische Fähigkeiten, Fähigkeit zum abstrakten Denken und kreativer Denker
- Teamplayer mit "Can Do" attitude
- Hohe Motivation, Selbstständigkeit und Eigeninitiative
- Unternehmerisch denkend
- Hervorragende Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift
