The Kao Salon Division brings the Kao vision for making life beautiful and enriching lives to salon owners, stylists and their clients around the world. As each salon client is different and every stylist unique, we offer a comprehensive portfolio of products and services across our quality brands Goldwell, KMS and Oribe.


The role:

In this position, you will be responsible for the Area Export Operations Management for the Salon EMEA Export. This includes management of own responsible countries (w/resp. for NS/BP/LC SME) and support for selected Key countries. You will also have the lead on the Pricing Calculation Process for the Salon EMEA Export as well the setup and excellent execution of operational processes.


This role is a permanent, full-time position based in Darmstadt.


What you will do:

  • Manage selected small distributor markets including NS and BP and Marketing Activation.
  • Support selected Key Salon EMEA distributors (e.g. SAP BW reports, SME tracking, local sales, diverse analysis).
  • Lead Export Pricing Calculation Process (develop recommendations based on non-binding price positioning, defined minimum prices and export margin targets, maintain price files updated).
  • Identify and analyze potential new markets/distributors and prepare new market entries.
  • Coordinate and manage general requests internally within Export, Regional functions and Global Marketing (e.g. coordination of regulatory process, process from order to shipment etc.).
  • Contribute to align and improve current processes and participate in documentation for all internal planning, forecasting and budget).
  • Prepare and organize meetings with internal and external customers (e.g. distributor conferences, meetings etc.).
  • Holiday replacement for office support function.

What you need:

  • BA in Business Administration, ideally with international orientation.
  • First working experience (1yr) ideally in operational role in an internal business environment.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office in particular Excel
  • Ideally knowledge in SAP Business Warehouse
  • Highly self-motivated and team oriented
  • Results-oriented and entrepreneurial attitude.
  • a previous export distributor management experience is desirable
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
