University Hospital Zurich is at the forefront of integrating AI into healthcare to improve patient outcomes. We're looking for an AI Medical Imaging Engineer passionate about leveraging technology to make a significant impact in healthcare, particularly in revolutionizing breast imaging. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in every step of advancing Medical Imaging through AI, from data set assembly to algorithm development, significantly contributing to improving diagnostic accuracy and breast cancer patient care.
Key responsibilities:
- Data Set Assembly: Assemble and maintain large breast multi-slice medical data sets using Mongo or SQL, ensuring accurate dataset creation.
- Algorithm Development: Develop and implement AI-based algorithms for medical image analysis. Document architecture in compliance with IEC-62304.
- Experience: Minimum three years in AI for Medical Imaging; PhD in data science or related field.
- Technical Proficiency: ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, and SQL database design.
- Skills: Methodical and structured approach, strong team player, positive attitude.
- Language: English proficiency required; German is a plus
