at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin seeks applicants for a

IT student assistant (f/m/d)

16 hours/week in Berlin.
The position is limited to 12 months with the possibility of an extension.

The Central IT at the Max Planck institute for Human Development is looking to expand the IT support to meet the increasing demands and is looking for student assistant to help with the daily operation.

About the job

The ideal candidate will help us with the day to day operation including ordering hardware, inventarise them and preparing them for hand out to the user. He/she will also help with client management and troubleshoot either in Windows or in MacOS or is willing to learn that skill.

Your profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at a German university (ideally computer science or related field).
• Strong general technical foundation and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Has good knowledge of either Windows or MacOS and is able to troubleshoot issues on either of these systems
• Willing to write bash or Poweshell scripts
• Is willing to learn mobile device management using Baramundi for Windows or JAMF for MacOS
