WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are looking for an enthusiastic Manager to support our global Flex@BCG efforts. You will work closely with the Global Flex@BCG Director and colleagues around the world who support Flex@BCG programs, to manage our portfolio of Flex offerings.BCG has a variety of Flex offerings globally for our Consulting Teams, Business Services Teams, and Knowledge Teams. These Flex options include working at part-capacity, Leave of Absence (LOA), part-time or term-time work, job sharing or flexible hours, and location flex, and are an important element of BCG’s Employee Value Proposition. The Flex@BCG Manager will work closely with colleagues embedded in offices around the world to expand the uptake of Flex opportunities, elevate the visibility of Flex, and support a positive experience for BCGers using Flex programs.
In the first 12-18 months, you will work with the Flex@BCG Director to drive change and the Flex agenda across the firm:
- Roll out FlexCapacity to BCG’s Consulting Team, and Business Services Team
- Conduct data-driven analyses and insight to determine pain points with Flex programs
- Develop and implement new solution levers based on insights from analysis
- Develop learning & development materials to enable the ecosystem of people that work with / support FlexCappers
- Follow up with systems that have launched, share learnings across systems, help them drive continuous improvement
- Identify and put in place ways to track relevant Flex metrics
- Etc.
In steady-state, you will continue to manage and continuously improve the Flex@BCG portfolio:
- Track Flex metrics, creating dashboards and sharing performance with offices around the world
- Support local HR teams with their Flex agendas and programs
- Work with Flex communities around the world to continuously improve
- Continuously upskill and train the diverse ecosystem of stakeholders to ensure success of Flex programs, including: staffers, career development advisors, case leaders, etc.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Problem solving and forward thinking. You will need to both act on current needs while having a vision for future goals and roadmap.
- Communication. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Building relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders. You should be comfortable influencing senior executives and effectively tailor your communications across all levels, geographies, and cultures represented by our organization.
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis. You will play a critical role in analysis of metrics. Ability to balance qualitative and big picture impact alongside quantitative analysis and attention to detail is critical.
- Teaming and adaptability. You must be able to work and collaborate across teams, to manage up, down, and across without explicit reporting relationships.
- Planning and Organisation. This role involves planning and managing to deadline various Flex@BCG projects and initiatives. Effective collaboration across BCG functions, engaging and influencing stakeholders of various tenures across the firm is essential.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced Degree, a bonus.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience required
- HR experience strongly preferred, with demonstrated impact at the regional/global level
- Experience in global organizations, with demonstrated cultural/identity adeptness
- Relevant experience in change management and project management preferred
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor to network of individuals focused on Flex@BCG, with skills in effective communication, persuasion, and influence
- Demonstrated good judgment to prioritize requests, and work with minimal direction
- BCG experience strongly preferred,
