As a result of this investment, we are recruiting a Frontend Developer to join a dynamic UX Insights development team as part of our UI Platform group in Dublin. This group is tasked with building the end user-facing layers of the Workday products.
About the Role
This is a frontend engineer role within the User Success Platform team in Workday. Our mission is to help our 55+ million users become even more productive and to use Workday to its fullest extent. We achieve this by using ML to discover how our software is being used and then provide guidance features to allow our users to successfully achieve their goals.

We’re looking for someone who is excited about building industry leading applications that will be used by millions of users daily and passionate about the user experience. The successful candidate is also a team player who understands and promotes industry best practices, and who excels at finding interesting and innovative ways to build and test frontend code.
About You
Responsibilities:
Work in a multi-disciplinary scrum team. Define, build, deploy and own new features
Collaborate with visual and interaction designers to craft the UI of the product
Drive technical design and architecture meetings with the team and perform peer code reviews as part of everyday workflow
Demonstrate technical awareness, vision and influencing skills in your interactions with the people outside your immediate team/org

About You
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably Computer Science/Engineering
3+ years’ experience developing software in a commercial environment
3+ years’ experience in developing web applications in HTML5/CSS/JS using frameworks/libraries
2+ years’ experience in developing web applications in React
Proven track record to work in an agile, fast paced continuous delivery environment
Preferred
A passion for innovation and ability to contribute to shaping the technical and product roadmaps
Some backend experience or a curiosity about venturing into the backend when needed to take on end-to-end problems would be a plus
An interest and some experience working with big data and machine learning
